ChildHub, a network for child protection professionals

The Child Protection Hub is a network of child protection professionals in Southeast Europe. This regional hub promotes the sharing of knowledge and good practices and offers specific professional pieces of training. It also allows supports the provision of information for policymakers, in order to influence better decisions about child protection.

While the funded project is over, the online platform is available in nine languages and is open to social workers, law enforcement officers, healthcare and justice professionals, teachers, as well as students and policymakers. They can access thousands of documents and publications, and practical e-learning courses, which are free, and people can follow in their own time, in their own national language. 

There are regular webinars in multiple languages, which bring together hundreds of people each year, and during which professionals can learn about new trends, discuss good practices, and hear about specific programmes running in different countries.

During its first five years, the Child Protection Hub had a positive impact on the life of over 500,000 children and their families.
