Terre des hommes Hellas has been active in Greece since 2016 and, since 2018, as a Greek non-profit organisation, has contributed to strengthening the child protection system and reforming social care.
In 2025, Terre des hommes Hellas further strengthened its work in child protection, mental health, education, and children's rights. We supported professionals, children, and families through training, advocacy, and community-based initiatives, while promoting children's participation and advancing safer, more inclusive, and child-centred protection systems.
In 2026, Terre des hommes Hellas begins a new chapter in its development with the introduction of a local governance model, reinforcing local leadership while remaining part of the international Terre des hommes network.
Our impact in 2025
It's all about children

"It is important to surround ourselves with people who make us feel good about ourselves and confident. We need to have a say in the things that matter to us and be involved in decisions, otherwise, we feel we are not valued."
– shared a 14-year-old student who participated in a workshop of the Unity in Care project.
