The war in Ukraine has a devastating impact on children and families, forcing more than 14 million people to leave their homes. Tdh helps internally displaced people in Western Ukraine and those who fled to Moldova, Romania and Hungary. Our teams assess and respond to the basic, health, protection and psychological needs of children, youth and families. We created child-friendly spaces and mother-baby corners and organise psychosocial activities. To help people stay safe, we inform them about available services and raise awareness of potential risks. We support and train frontline workers and work with authorities to coordinate the emergency response.
