Vacancy: Web Editor for Terre des hommes’ regional and country websites (short-term contract in Moldova)

Terre des hommes Foundation is looking for a Web Editor to establish a regional website for its activity in Europe and a country website for Moldova based on its main website www.tdh.ch.

You are passionate about web content management. You are organized, well-structured and can work with content in English, Romanian, and Russian languages. You are comfortable and experimented with the CMS Drupal? This challenge is for you.

Contract              Two-months contract

Location              Chisinau (Moldova)

The candidates must be legally eligible to work in Moldova.

Tdh’s activity in Europe is coordinated by the regional office in Budapest, opened in 2005.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an agency or individual who will create/ establish a regional website for its activity in Europe and a country website for Moldova based on an existing Drupal template similar to https://tdh.uk/.

The current regional website is http://tdh-europe.org and the website of Tdh Moldova is http://tdh-moldova.md/. The new websites will be hosted in a new multi-sites server and will follow the design and structure elements of the parent website.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Web Editor will be responsible for the whole process until the websites are made public and work properly, including:

  • Reviewing the architecture and mapping of the websites;
  • Gather and organize all the content needed for each pages of each website (text, pictures, terms, videos, documents, etc.)
  • Setting up the menus;
  • Creating the digital library;
  • Uploading main content;
  • Preparing database of current websites for migration to new websites;
  • Verifying the websites after migration and correcting the layout or formatting when needed;
  • Ensuring connection among the different Tdh websites;
  • Integration of social media plugins;
  • Training local staff in content management in Drupal. 

The Web Editor will closely work with the Digital, Content Promotion, Photo & Video Manager and the Regional Communication Officer. Terre des hommes will provide all relevant content, including texts, photos, videos, and publications.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Substantial experience in website mapping and content management in Drupal;
  • Ability to comfortably work with content in English, Romanian, and Russian languages;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills;
  • Flexibility, availability and adaptability;
  • Ability to uphold high standards and punctuality under pressure;
  • Results-oriented and problem-solving skills.
